Stylesheets are a cool and powerful way to make web design a lot easier.

As you learn how to make things work in a cross-browser fashion, they can also be frustrating (specifically -- this is where designers learn to *hate internet explorer*. :-) )...

In many cases, (and I believe Zeldman has said this on more than one occasion) many designers will ultimately continue to use a combination of tables and CSS to layout their pages... at least until that happy, looked-for day when IE supports CSS standards (oops, I mean *recommendations*) in the a proper fashion... that is, they way the w3c wrote them up.

Enjoyed your posts about the conference; maybe next year I'll try to saunter over to wherever it is, sounds like a good time.
