First, I posted a comment when you took your break, but for some reason things got hosed. Wannted to wish you the best - and a quick return.

Anyways:

(10) Sleep IS good, annd very underrated with certain age groups.

(9) This is a surprise to you? Jeez, you really did need a break! The blog world is nothing more than a testtube of the late 20th century and beyond. And it'll NEVER be any more either.

(8) This is what caused me to comment. No. Nope. No way.

DVD movies.... Gladiator, Pirates of the Carribean, Star Trek (even numbers). Field of Dreams, Amadeus. Right there there is something for every taste except "chickflicks" that is much more worthwhile seeing without break than not.

DVD music.... MUST be a live concert. Currently my favorite is Allison Krause + Union Station. Before that we're talking about Springsteen (both shows), Tom Petty (HIgh Grass Dogs), Peter Gabriel (most of both shows), and finally Jars of Clay.

(7-3) I'll take your word.

(2) Sure do. I did.

(1) This is a good thing, right? And I'll bet this is one of the things that made the break all worthwhile!

Don't leave me hanging. What books?

#10 could have easily been #1 on most people's lists...

Pudge > Thanks for the feedback! Great to hear from the incredible people at New Spring.

Dave > Great stuff! I'm with you on the concert DVD's - I've really enjoyed the Springsteen ones, but I need to check out Gabriel.

Mike > I never thought I'd be like this, but I've fallen into the trap of reading a few books at the same time. Right now, I'm reading Clinton's autobiography, Rob Bell's new book, a book with Ben, and I just finished "Revolution in the Valley" - the book on the original Mac.

PapaCool > Amen, brother!

Brian,

That's Backpack, not Basecamp. Sorry for nitpicking.

Oh, I made the widget, by the way :)

Thanks, Matt! No matter how much I use them both, I still randomly switch their names - I've made the correction.

The widget is awesome, by the way.
