Matt Murph

Brian, let me say first that as often as I read blogs... I check yours for new material. Keep up the great work(!)... blogging and at FC (my home away from home). For the title of this post.... i'm going to put my money on a reference to "Dude, Where's My Car?"

As far as communication over web, that is an interesting change. I know you guys will be all you can be... regardless of where the web reports to. I look back and laugh at some of my previous discussions with the communications department.

Comm: can't we just make that bigger and put it over there....

Web: well... it's not exactly that eas... okay, i'll see what I can do.

Matt

"Honey, where's my dinner?"

Pleasantville, am I right?

Brian

Ah, you both have great, perfectly reasonable guesses, but they're not quite what I had in mind.

Like I said Matt, print and web are two VERY different canvases!

Thanks, guys! Keep those guesses coming.

MUTEMATT

Honey. Where is my Super-suit?!
The Incredibles

Brian

The third Matt is a winner! Where's...my...super...suit! What a great movie.

You can redeem your points at the door on your way out, where you'll find a list of valuable prizes to choose from.

MUTEMATT

Door? I don't know about you guys, but I got in here through a window.

Kris

Interesting stuff Brian. Importantly you've highlighted that you've got a leader there that 'gets' relevant communication and that there is an understanding of the very different methodologies. In places which don't really get 'web' it could be a disaster . . . you guys sound like you are set for a winner though.

Sounds like a smart move to me.

Too many churches (businesses, etc) still seem to make the mistake that the web is about technology instead of COMMUNICATING with people.
