Scoble was recently interviewed by one of his new Podtech co-workers. If you've ever wanted to hear a quick and clear case for blogging, this is it. Scoble presents an engaging, enthusiastic, truly heartfelt argument for corporations and organizations to embrace blogging and join the conversation happening all around them.
"If I don't find you, you don't exist."
As he shows, blogging is a powerful tool that allows you to talk to Google (marketing and search results) and to the people who are part of these word-of-mouth networks.
If someone told me I had 15 minutes to convince them of why blogging is worth doing, this is what I would want them to hear.

Wow, thanks!

It's a terrific interview. I've heard the same thing from a couple of people since.
It's really a great example of the power of voice over text.
Looking forward to the launch of The Scoble Show!

If someone told me I had 15 minutes to convince them of why blogging is worth doing, I might ask them who they are...
- if I see they have an addictive personality, I'd give up the 15 minutes and maybe we'd take a walk instead
- if I see they are a writer, I'd say, "What are you waiting for? This is a real skill development opportunity!"
- if I see they are in business, I'd say "Great promo tool. Great market research tool."
- if I see they are sleep deprived, I'd give up the 15 minutes and send them to their pillow
As with any tool, blogging has got possibilities, but it's not for everyone. And, I'd make that clear in my 15 minutes.
