A New Sexual Revolution

This weekend, Ed Young started a brand-new series called Sexual Revolution. The first message, Stripped, was the best talk on sex I have ever heard. Sex should be divine - we devalue it, ourselves, and our creator when we treat it as nothing more than an appetite beyond our control. Whether you consider yourself a believer or not, take a few minutes to check it out. Besides, how many times do you get to see a bed in church?

I agree, a very very good message. You could really see the "one idea" thread in the message as everything was brought round to our humanity + how we are to view sex in that light. "We are not dogs". Loved it...

Couple of questions Brian,

I know you've been busy with your blog book, but we will start to see more blog posts about Fellowship + your work? - I notice you've taken down the code site - when you switched to php et al, I seem to remember you being fairly committed to releasing + sharing what you were doing - is this still going to happen?

Ian - yes, I think a lot of people gained a whole new perspective on sex during that message.

James - glad you enjoyed the talk. Sorry, no plans to dive further into the web development side of things right now. There's simply too much going on and the blog is a great chance to explore other things.

I don't know about beds in church, but over the years I've seen my share of invisible pillows... you know, the head rolls back and a little snore escapes. :)
